ABOUT ME
I am a Mixed Race, First Generation individual who identifies as Non-Binary (NB) and Gender Non-Conforming (GNC) and prefer the pronouns they/them. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University with specialized course work in Forensics and Addictions. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Forensics Counselor (CFC).
We are all unique as individuals and I apply a blend of multiple theoretical approaches including CBT, DBT, MI, Narrative Therapy, and Affirmative Counseling. I have been practicing since 2016 but have been in the health care field since 2007. I am a current member of WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) and trained in the Standards of Care (8) and am a vetted professional through Brave Space, LLC. I am always looking to build on my knowledge base and have been educated in Integrative Mental Health (how foods and supplements affect your body and mind) and the up-to-date information for ADHD, symptoms, assessments, and the various CBT techniques that can help.

I offer a variety of assessments and letter writing for hormone therapy and surgeries and aspire to provide a “safe zone” for the individuals I see that breeds an environment of free self-expression. I would like to assist you in your Gender Journey through support, guidance, and education which may ultimately help lead you to living a productive and fulfilling life.
